The State Project Director(SSA) and Commissioner & Director of School Education, Telangana State had issued certain instructions for Initiation of process for Integration of Upper Primary School to VIII Class in 10 Districts of Telangna State. In this connection SPD and C&DSE has instructed to all the District Educational Officers of Telangana State to initiate the presence of for inclusion of VIII Class in 142 upper Primary Schools, to open 36 New Primary and to initiate the process in Upgradation of 7 Primary Schools to Upper Primary Schools in ten (10) districts as per the norms.

- To initiate the process in Upgradation of 7 Primary Schools to Upper Primary Schools in the following ten (10) districts as per the norms.
- G.O.Ms.No.55 dated 5-7-2012, at para 5 in point(1) specifies to include VIII class in the upper primary schools where the strength in VI and VII classes is 40 and more than 40 and where there is no other Upper Primary School or high School functioning within a distance of 3 kms to the proposed upper primary school from the academic year 2014-2015. Based on this clause the concerned District Educational Officers of 8 District in Telangana State have submitted proposals for inclusion of VIII class in 142 Upper Primary Schools.
- Therefore, the District Educational Officers of Telangana State are requested to initiate the presence of for inclusion of VIII Class in 142 upper Primary Schools, to open 36 New Primary and to initiate the process in Upgradation of 7 Primary Schools to Upper Primary Schools in the following ten (10) districts as per the norms.
