As per G.O.RT.No. 642 DATED: 22-09-2014

The Birthday Celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi which falls on 2nd October, 2014 is hereby declared as a “STATE FUNCTION”.
The expenditure to be incurred by various Departments of State Government shall be met from the budget provision of their respective Departments.
